Privacy
Revised October 4, 2026.
Learning and account data
We store account details from your chosen sign-in method, lesson progress, XP, exercise submissions, mobile session attempts and responses, saved courses, reading receipts and learning preferences to provide and sync your learning experience. Guest progress and editor drafts are stored on your device. Account drafts and unsynced writes stay associated with their original account when you sign out. Clearing browser storage removes local work that has not synced.
Browser storage
Authentication uses session cookies. Browser storage also remembers appearance, lesson drafts, guest progress, pending changes and privacy choices. Optional analytics uses a site-specific consent session and delivery records when allowed. Turning analytics off clears pending analytics and consent-scoped identifiers; it does not erase your learning progress.
Optional analytics
Analytics is off on this browser and site. You can change your choice at any time. Learning works either way.
When allowed and configured, Umami and ChiliTrack receive coarse navigation, device and learning-event information to help us improve the platform. Each is measured independently. We do not send email addresses, account IDs, editor code, answer text, search text, authentication tokens or full callback links as analytics properties. Analytics is not a source of truth for course completion. Network requests can expose connection information to the receiving service; we do not claim these services are completely anonymous. Local previews disable external telemetry.
Email choices
Sign-in emails are separate from optional language updates. Newsletter updates require your request and confirmation from your inbox. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Every update must include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing retains a suppression record so another request cannot subscribe you again. Contact us to remove a suppression record or rejoin. An unconfirmed request does not permit learning-update emails.
Optional project pilots
If you request a project-pilot invitation, we store the offer, request time and account reference and use your verified email for that specific follow-up. This does not subscribe you to a newsletter or take a payment. You can remove your preference at /ide/project-interest.
Service providers and code execution
Hosting, authentication, email delivery and error monitoring support the service. Production email is delivered through Resend; local testing uses a private mail inbox. GlitchTip/Sentry error reports use a redaction boundary for sensitive request data. Code submitted with Run is processed by the runtime identified by the platform; execution and analytics are separate. Do not submit passwords or other secrets in code.
Retention, access and deletion
Account learning records remain available while your account is active unless you request deletion. Editor drafts remain on the device until cleared. Newsletter suppression is retained to honor your choice. Provider retention and backup expiry are part of the deployment configuration; contact us for the current schedule. We retain records only for the service purposes described here and required operational obligations.
To request a copy, correction or deletion of your account and learning data, or to ask about providers or storage, email info@a14a.nl. We may need to verify control of your account before acting. Do not email your password or sign-in links. These requests are handled by the operator; the analytics controls above take effect in this browser.
